There are many things to be thankful for today, but first and foremost in my mind is the fact that I have Jenn in my life. It's her birthday today and it's the first time we've spent it apart. We celebrated early since we were taking separate trips this week, but I'm missing her like crazy and wishing I could be with her right now.

Jenn is creative, passionate, driven and endlessly talented. She makes me laugh like no one else can, with her wicked sense of humor and her occasionally really dumb jokes. She's thoughtful, compassionate and cares deeply about social justice and the wellbeing of others. She also values experiences over material possessions. She's the type of person who's willing to ruin her perfect dress the day after the wedding for the chance to run along the beach through the fog together. And when she faces hardships or obstacles, she's the type to push through them and keep moving rather than let them drag her down.

Last but not least, Jenn is my support, my center and the one to push me out of my comfort zone in order to experience a new adventure or remind me of what's truly important in life. I know no matter where we're living and no matter what else is happening in our lives, we'll be happy as long as we have each other.
